An Overview of Yorkshire Coast Yoga Classes
All classes are open to women and men
These classes are suitable for any age and ability. The teacher will take you through a range of warm-ups, postures and movements, making sure that all levels are catered for. Come along whether you are a complete beginner or whether you have been practising yoga for years – there’ll be something for everyone. Classes include posture work, breathing exercises, short meditations and relaxation. You’re welcome to attend any or all of these classes. The 10% discount applies if you book for a whole half-term and pay in advance.
This class is suitable for children between the ages of 4 and 12. Classes are safe, fun and non-competitive. Yoga helps children to develop strong, healthy, flexible bodies and to increase their concentration, focus and attention. Classes encourage children to reflect and use their imaginations, and to develop self-awareness and a sense of inner peace. No child is pushed to do any exercise with which s/he is uncomfortable. Instead, children are taught to listen to their own bodies and to work within what is appropriate for them. Children benefit from the non-competitive atmosphere of a yoga class where they can relax and have fun without pressure. Children in this class will be taught yoga games and songs, simple poses and movements and breathing exercises, and basic relaxation techniques.

This class is suitable for beginners and for those with some experience of meditation. The teacher will draw upon a range of techniques, including those found within the yoga traditions, Buddhism and other contemplative traditions. You will not need any special clothing or equipment for this class – just come as you are.
Yorkshire Coast Yoga provides private tuition at very reasonable cost with an experienced British Wheel of Yoga teacher. The teacher will tailor the hour-long session to suit you and your particular needs, whether this is addressing a particular physical problem, deepening your understanding of posture work, breathing exercises or meditation, or having an all-round yoga session designed just for you. Prices start from just £10 per session for up to 2 people and from £15 per session for 3 people or more. Payment Options
Drop-in Rate or Pay-As-You-Go
All classes can be paid for at the drop-in rate – you just pay as you go, so you don’t have to pay for classes you miss. For popular classes, however, you are advised to book and pay in advance to guarantee your place.
Early Payment Discount
A 10% discount applies if you book and pay for a half-term’s lessons in advance. Paying this way is easier and cheaper, and you get a guaranteed place in the class.
